A Hacker group took down the Minneapolis Police Department Website

Anonymous an international hacktivist group has released a video on Saturday night promising to bring justice for George Floyd who died at the hands of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.

In the video, Anonymous calls for Chauvin to be charged with murder in the death of George Floyd and vows to expose police corruption around the country.

The Minneapolis PD site, as well as the parent City of Minneapolis site, became inaccessible late Saturday, according to multiple user reports.

A separate site for the Minneapolis Police Department, insidempd.com, appears to be unaffected.

The video, which has been viewed over 1.8 million times, features a figure wearing a Guy Fawkes mask and an electronically altered voiceover, which are hallmarks of the group.
