In recent times this is the only launch event that is not postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus. Actually, the event should be taking place in Paris due to restrictions the company decided to go online.
What to expect in the launch?
Yesterday, a Deutsche website named win future leaked almost everything about the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro phone.
In this blogpost, winfuture stated that the Huawei is going to release two variants the first one would be Huwaei P40, the second one would be Huawei P40 Pro. In these two variants, the 5G chip is available which can work all around the world.
Huwaei P40 Pro consists of 6.58-inch Amelod panel with a front dual camera cut out just like Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus but the difference is the camera cut in P40 Pro is on the right. It has a resolution of 2640x1200 with 441 PPI. It also has a 90Hz refresh rate which is a lot less compared to Samsung Galaxy S20+.
The front dual camera has 32 MP camera with an infrared sensor as a depth sensor which is also responsible for the security while unlocking your phone with face unlock.
Coming to the Rear Camera that looks a lot like Samsung latest flagship phone S20 plus. The vertical rectangle cut with the same dimensions and same position. But the difference is instead of having four cameras like Samsung Galaxy S20+. The Huawei has only three cameras, one with a 50MP for Photos, a 40MP camera for Videos, a 12MP for zoom.
The Huawei P40 Pro always has eight gigabytes of memory in Europe, while the UFS-based internal flash memory is 128 or 256 GB each. It can be easily expanded using a NanoMemory 2 memory card. As usual, there are two SIM card slots, NFC support and Gigabit Wi-Fi.
The battery of the Huawei P40 Pro is not exactly lavishly sized with 4200mAh for a 5G-capable smartphone, but due to the limited resolution in normal operation, it is likely to survive a full day of use.
The power supply is again provided with a SuperCharge power supply up to 40 watts thick, but can also be done via wireless charging. At 209 grams, the Huawei P40 Pro is relatively heavy, while the manufacturer gives a height of 8.95 millimetres.
The device is IP68 certified and therefore waterproof and dustproof.
