Huawei expected to launch a phone with four cameras in India on July 26, could be the Nova 3


Huawei is set to launch the Nova 3 in China on July 18, the company confirmed a couple of weeks ago. Ahead of the launch, Huawei has listed the Nova 3 on a Chinese retail website, revealing the complete specs of the phone. The price of the handset, however, is still a secret. Huawei will be revealing the price of the Nova 3 on July 18 in China. Soon after the China launch, Huawei is expected to launch the Nova 3 in the Indian market on July 26, reveals a company teaser.
Huawei has teased that the company will be launching a new device in India on July 26. The company, however, hasn't confirmed the name of the device. The teaser doesn't reveal any details about the upcoming device, apart from the fact that the phone will come with four cameras.
The teaser reads as follows -- "A phone that can make you do more. Cameras that can fourfold your view. Four-in-one is #Coming4You!" In the teaser, Huawei clearly mentions that the upcoming phone will sport four cameras, two on the rear panel and two on the front. The Huawei Nova 3 comes with four cameras, two cameras on the rear and two on the front.
No further hardware details about the upcoming Huawei phone has been confirmed by the company. The phone that will be launching on July 26 will be an Amazon exclusive product. This bit of information has been confirmed by both Huawei and Amazon via an official teaser.


Meanwhile, some reports also claim that, alongside the Nova 3, the Chinese smartphone maker will also launch another phone called the Nova 3i in India on the same day. However, in the teaser, Huawei talks about the launch of only "A phone" with four cameras, which hints at only the Nova 3.

HUAWEI NOVA 3 SPECS

The Huawei Nova 3 comes with a great specs sheet. The phone comes with some of the latest flagship features found in phones like OnePlus 6, Samsung Galaxy S9 and others. It comes with a 6.3-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It sports an LCD display and offers full HD+ resolution, meaning the viewing angles of the phone will be great. Another highlighting factor of the phone is that the handset comes with an iPhone X-like notch on top of the screen like most flagship phones today.
On the hardware front, the Nova 3 is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor. The phone comes with a Cortex-A73 quad-cluster at 2.4 GHz and four more Cortex-A53 cores at 1.8GHz. Nova 3 comes packed with a 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expandable further via a microSD card. The phone is backed a 3,750 mAh battery with Huawei's own Super Charge support. Meaning, Nova 3 is capable of fast charging.
The Huawei Nova 3 comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back panel next to the dual cameras. Another highlight of the Nova 3 is its camera. The smartphone comes with two front and two back cameras. On the rear panel, the Nova 3 has a primary sensor of 16MP coupled with f/1.8 aperture and secondary sensor of 24MP. On the front, the Nova 3 comes with two selfie cameras with a primary sensor of a 24MP and secondary sensor of 2MP.
The phone runs on the latest Android Oreo 8.1 with Huawei's own EMUI OS on top. Nova 3 comes with 3D Qmoji much like the Apple's Animoji. The phone also comes with GPU Turbo feature, AI capabilities and features like scene recognition and app optimization.
