E-commerce major Amazon India has kickstarted its 36-hour Prime Day sale which is being hosted between 12 noon on July 16 and midnight of July 17. This sale is only for Amazon Prime members. Amazon has a yearly subscription plan and has even launched Prime subscription at Rs 129 monthly recently if you don’t want to pay for a year. With Prime membership, you will also get access to videos, music and more.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick with voice remote is available at a price of Rs 2,799. This is the lowest price of the streaming media player. If you pay by using an HDFC credit or debit card then you will be entitled to get an additional discount. The device was launched at Rs 3,999 and was available at Rs 3,299 during the last Amazon sale.
Amazon Echo at Rs 6,999

The Amazon Kindle PaperWhite (6-inch) is now priced at Rs 8,249 while the all-new Kindle e-reader costs Rs 4,699. The starter packs of Kindle Paperwhite and the new Kindle is priced at Rs 9,498 and Rs 5,598 respectively during Prime Day Sale. These prices are the lowest as of now. Also, Amazon is offering 15% discount on high-end Kindle Oasis 8GB (Rs 18,699) and 32GB (Rs 24,649) models.
What you need to know about HDFC and Amazon Pay discounts
If you are using your HDFC debit or credit card to shop during the Prime Day Sale then you will be entitled to 10% cashback. If the purchase value is less than Rs 50,000 then you are eligible for a 10% instant discount of up to Rs 1,750. The minimum bill for availing this offer has to be Rs 3,000. However, note that if you make a purchase of just Rs 3,000 that doesn’t mean you will get Rs 1,750 as an instant discount. For availing the maximum instant discount of Rs 1,750 you will have to shop for Rs 17,500.
