How to Sign Up For IRCTC Website ?

NOTE: BEST TO Not Sign Up between 9:30Am to 12: 00 Pm. In this Period of time, this site offers Tatkal Tickets and you may get OTP late.

Go To Irctc Website.
And Click On SignUp

1. Choose your User Id with 3 to 35 character. Only letter, number, and underscore are allowed. It should be unique.
2. Create A Password with Min 8 character & Max 15 character. Password must contain at least one small & one capital alphabet and numeric digit.
3. Then you need to choose a Security Question from available Questions. And answer it.
4. Then type/ choose

All entries are Compulsory. Optional fields are Stated as (Optional)

• Date Of Birth
• Occupation
• Aadhaar Card No(Optional)
• PAN Card (Optional)

• Area/Locality (Optional)

• state
• City/Town
• Post Office
• phone

Enter Captcha
And Submit the registration form
Then you will get OTP to your entered mobile number and email
Enter the Both OTP to Activate your IRCTC Account
