Rambo Last Blood : Review

Rambo Last Blood : Review

The plot is very simple Yvette Monreal (Gabrielle) searches for her abandoned father. She learns that her father is living in Mexico with the help of her childhood friend Sheila Shah (Alejandra). Gabrielle goes to Mexico in search of her abandoned father and confronts Marco de la O. He rejects her and it upsets her. To get the mood right both the girls decided hit the pub. Alejandra sells Gabrielle to a woman trafficking cartel.

Gabrielle Uncle Sylvester Stallone (Jhon Rambo) realizes that his niece went to Mexico to see her father. He then quickly rushes to Mexico and starts to enquire about his niece starting from her father. Her father replies that Gabrielle was not with her. Then Jhon Rambo goes to Sheila Shah and asks about her niece with a sharp double edge knife on the table.

Sheila shows the person to Jhon Rambo who she sold her friend out. Stallone breaks his ribs with a bare hand by punching a hole with his fingers to get answers from the cartel guy. I can't watch this scene. The white bone-cracking from his ribs are clearly shown in this scene. I don't know whether a regular-sized human being can break a bone with his bare hands and fingers. But you will be convinced that Sylvester Stallone can do with ease.

He found that the cartel is run by Hugo and Victor Martinez. The Martinez brothers traffic woman to the United States. Jhon Rambo asks for her niece by showing her photo. The Martinez brothers and another 25 guys beat up Rambo like hell. You would normally expect Sylverstone to fight and win that fight scene by kicking all of them, but he loses.

From now on the story makes you feel some kind of pain that is hard. You don't want your hero in the to feel helpless. Rambo lies in a coma for four days. Meanwhile, the cartel guys inject a regular overdose of drugs to Gabrielle. The next short fight scene to save his niece. Sylvester knocks with claw hammer makes you so uneasy and suffocate in your seat. Only the strong-hearted can actually see it with eyes open.

When Sylvester bangs a cartel guy in the head with claw hammer you can actually see the skull crushers and actual brain of that guy. Even though all that stuff is computer graphics you can feel the pain of the bad guy and the painful emotion that was carried by the Sylvester is amazing during the scene. Rambo eventually rescues her and takes to home.
But it happens and Rambo's niece dies in halfway to home due to overdose drugs.

Rambo couldn't take that. He seeks for revenge. With the help of an investigative journalist, he took one of the Martinez brothers head off. The other brother tries to kill Rambo. Rambo being Rambo he prepares his house for war against a Mexican cartel. Rambo fills his hand dig tunnels with the booby traps and waits for bad guys.

The Mexican Cartel guys fell in the booby traps set by Rambo and die one by one. At Last finally, Rambo uses his signature bow and arrow to hold the other brother and kills by slicing his heart out his chest. To watch action scenes you need a good brave heart. The computer graphics are way more violent to watch. The exact pain experienced when the man is suffering was perfectly captured by the director. If you are a human being who can't watch chicken die in front of you in the butcher's shop before cutting into pieces. You shouldn't watch the movie at all.

This movie is just produced just to end the Rambo series. If you are a fan of Rambo and you are expecting something like previous Rambo movies its better watch old movies than this one. No rememberable action sequence, Same old revenge storyline, and same old climax fight.

I expected from this movie is a good thrilling action experience, but I came out of fear of slicing my heart out of my chest.
